NEW YORK
The following list has been provided by NAPO-NY. We are grateful to the members for their generosity in providing the information.
Because of the enormous number of charitable organizations in the New York City metropolitan area, many of them stressed the fact that they now have maximum amounts that they will accept per donation. So its always a good idea to call first and get all the particulars before you transport possessions. Many of the organizations will provide some type of pickup service, so be sure to ask about transportation. All items intended for donation should be in working order and certainly in resaleable condition. Finally, remember that to part with those things in your life that no longer serve you, you will receive a tax deduction (remember to get a receipt), you can benefit others, and you put your former possessions to very good use.
The information below has been provided in good faith by past or present members of NAPO-NY. NAPO-NY does not endorse, promote, or examine the validity of any of the persons or information listed here. If you represent one of the agencies listed below and would like to provide updated information, we would be grateful if you completed the form at "Contact Us".
